A new build on a private gated estate, completed in 2015. This is the second garden Jane has completed for this client.  It was installed during the summer and the planting finished in October/November with the addition of hundreds of bulbs.

Part of the garden was protected and you will see from the photo we planted a Yew hedge to delineate between the formal garden and the meadow.  The before photo gives an indication of the strange shape of the garden.  The design focuses attention on the clean lines within the space rather than the limiting boundaries.  Large mature shrubs and perennials fill the borders and mature box balls have been strategically placed.  The pleached trees and parterre and beginning to mature and fill out.  The latter is waiting for its first cut later this month.
